Both the brass extension and the template make it possible to achieve a perfectly flush finish. HEAVY DUTY HINGE NO. 603
This heavy duty hinge was specifically designed for heavy/large hatches, transom doors or side-boarding gates. Cut from 1/2" (12.5mm) SST 316L plate for the hinge body and 14 gauge (0.071" = 1.8mm) SST 316L sheet for the cover plates.
This heavy duty hinge has a 1/4" (6.35mm) diameter hinge-pin that turns in machined Delrin bearings. This hinge may be fastened with either machine screws or wood screws. The cover plate pins press-fit into Tygon tubing, which is then recessed into the hinge body.

FLUSH DECK FIXED TIE DOWN NO. 701
All stainless steel 316L, designed flush/recessed deck fixed tie down. Unlike the conventional eyebolt/deck plate tie down, this unit does not require eyebolt removal to prevent people from tripping. When combined with HYS heavy-duty ratchets, it provides a quick means of lashing down tenders, jet skies, small boats, etc. The two SST 316L- 7/16” threaded rods are threaded and welded into the 9.75mm = 3/8” thick body of the top tie-down plate. The top plate and dish are both machined down to a diameter of 101.02mm = 4” exactly. The threaded rods allow a deck thickness up to 114.25mm = 4 ½ “ and come complete with SST 316L nuts and lock washers. All face sides of the tie-down are hand mirror-polished.

Like the 452 Hatch Fastener, the 703 model uses the same key locking system, which provides a sleek and functional security feature to the unit. Flush installation is standard. The main body is carefully machined from a single piece of SST bar and welded to the dish with no visible indications of welding on the inside of the dish. A milled line on the shaft triangular face shows the position of the cam at all times.

Requires 39.68mm (1 9/16”) hole and can accommodate a thickness of 41.28mm (1 5/8”). The shaft is a 12.7mm (1/2”) socket machine screw. All parts including cam, nuts and shaft are 316L SST. The optional 316L SST T-handle Allen Hex Key has a 4.76mm (3/16”) bore enabling it to fit over 3.2mm (1/8”) pin in the hex head recess of the 12.7mm (½”) shaft. With each unit a 3.2mm (1/8”) pin is provided which can be easily press-fitted/glued into the hex head recess for added security at the option of the installer. Anchors are an essential part of the safety equipment on any vessel. Ensuring that each ship has an anchor of the proper type, design and size is fundamental.
In the early 1960’s the POOL®-N anchor was created with the POOL®-TW anchor coming into existence ten years later. POOL® anchors are used on commercial vessels, e.g., cruise ships, ferries, container ships, barges, tugboats, and freighters, as well as recreational yachts. The major boat builders in the Netherlands, including FEADSHIP, use the POOL® type anchors as standard equipment. The POOL® anchor is very popular in Western Europe and is rapidly gaining recognition in the United States and Canada.
POOL® anchors differ from most conventional anchors in that they are stockless. POOL® anchors are welded out of high-tensile steel plates and because of this, can be easily repaired.
For the same holding-power, a POOL® anchor has approximately twenty-five percent (25%) less weight than a conventional anchor. Due to its high-holding power capability, the POOL® anchor is classified as a high-holding power anchor; more commonly referred to as an H.H.P. anchor in the boating industry.
POOL® anchors are very attractive and can fit easily into a bow pocket. Most POOL® anchors come fully balanced, therefore the possibility of damage to the hull is significantly reduced.
Various versions of POOL® anchors have been manufactured for the Royal Dutch Navy, ships in Greece, Germany, Canada and numerous cruise ships, such as the Royal Viking and many ships owned by The Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
POOL® anchors are manufactured in the Netherlands. The design and fabrication process used for all POOL® anchors is approved by all major classifications societies such as:
